Salary: 13.46 EUR per hour (pre-tax)
Duration: 6 – 12 months (extension possible)
Working hours: 6 to 9 hours per week

Work description: The unit “Statistical Modeling of Primary Data” is involved in various research projects. We are specialized in the analysis of primary data (including nutritional data, physical activity data, genetic and molecular data), also in combination with secondary data (e.g., spatial exposure data). In addition, federated data analysis is playing an increasingly important role. We employ two student helpers to support our work. Our tasks are divers, offering valuable insight into the daily work of a biometrician. The unit speaks German and English.

Aufgabengebiet

Tasks:

  • Support in the analysis of research projects being carried out within the unit
  • Programming in R or SAS (depends on the project)
  • Setting up simulation studies
  • Creating plots and shiny applications
  • Interpretation of results
  • Literature research

Voraussetzungen

Requirements:

  • Bachelor´s degree in mathematics, statistics, data science, computer science or a related field
  • Experience in programming (preferable in R)
